Celebrating Carrick-on-Shannon Tidy Towns Volunteers

Carrick Chamber was delighted to organise a special evening to celebrate the wonderful volunteers of Carrick-on-Shannon Tidy Towns and recognise their incredible hard work and dedication.

The evening took place aboard the Moon River, providing a chance to relax, enjoy the company and celebrate Carrick-on-Shannon’s fantastic success in last year’s SuperValu TidyTowns competition, where the town was named Ireland’s Tidiest Town and Tidiest Small Town.

The award was a wonderful achievement and a fitting recognition of the many years of commitment, time and effort given by the Tidy Towns volunteers to making Carrick-on-Shannon such a welcoming and beautiful place.

A sincere thank you to the Moon River crew for their warm hospitality and to The Landmark Hotel for providing the delicious catering.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to see the volunteers enjoying the evening together. Their dedication to the town is greatly appreciated, and this celebration was very well deserved.
