Carrick on Shannon Rapid River Responders have come to a possession of a river rescue robot. The purchase of this Rescue Robot was sponsored by the Carrick Chamber of Commerce.

This is a much needed equipment for Carrick on Shannon. The device can support up to 200 kilograms, and in emergencies, can tow two people back to shore or allow up to three people to stay afloat until rescue arrives.
