🌍 Fairtrade Month in Carrick-on-Shannon 🌍

Fairtrade Month is a global celebration of fairness, sustainability, and better trading conditions for farmers and workers around the world. It’s a time to raise awareness, support ethical sourcing, and highlight the power of communities choosing Fairtrade products.

Here in Carrick-on-Shannon, we’re proud to be a Fairtrade Town! The celebrations begin with the official launch on 3rd February at Esquires Coffee Carrick-on-Shannon, followed by a community parade on 24th February.

As a designated Fairtrade Town, Carrick-on-Shannon continues to champion ethical trade, with the strong support of the Carrick Chamber.

A heartfelt thank you to Sister Nora for her continued leadership and dedication to this important initiative, as well as to the entire Fairtrade Committee and Fairtrade Ireland for their ongoing work and commitment.
